Thank-you for choosing Irides’ Exchange Service.
This document will assist you in getting up and running with Outlook 2003 and Exchange in native mode using RPC over HTTPS.
A few notes:
This service will only work with Outlook 2003 or Internet Explorer.
If you are accessing this service with Internet Explorer, you do not need to go through this procedure.
Outlook 2003 is not provided by Irides, it must be obtained by the customer.
Outlook 2003 should not be running during the profile setup procedure.
Outlook 2003 should be patched to the most current level.
You will need your Exchange Login, Domain Login and Password. These can be found in your Irides Welcome Letter.

6) There might be a “Connect” window that pops up. If so, click on Cancel in that window.
It’s also possible that an error screen will popup after some delay. Acknowledge it and click on Cancel for the “Check Name” box that might follow.
These failures are normal and expected.

Click on Cancel should this box appear during the profile setup

Cancel this window as well.
Do not click on “Check Name”, it will not work.
7) At this point the “Settings” window should pop up. Click on the “Connection” tab.
At the bottom, check “Connect to my Exchange….” and click on “Exchange Proxy Settings”

8) In the https:// box enter “exc01.exchangesvc.com”.
Click on “On fast networks, connect using HTTP …..” so that it is checked.
Verified “On slow networks, connect using HTTP ….” is checked.
Under “Proxy authentication settings” select Basic Authentication
